Today's review is dedicated to a small, fine Multiplayer 2D Shooter.

In Teeworlds we take control over a cute and colorful "Kirby-like" creature, to fight other players in challenging online matches.

The best thing, right away: The Game is completely free and not just another "Free To Play" game.

There is no In-Game Shop, no In-Game Money and no improvements that can be earned for your character. Everything you need in the game is available to every player right from the start.

This puts Teeworlds in the category of "Freeware" games, which is pretty overlooked nowadays.

At the beginning we choose our language and create our character, which is obviosly inspired, by Nintendo's "Kirby". The only difference is that these creatures, which are called "Tees" in the game, are armed to the teeth.

The actual gameplay focuses on classic and wellknown multiplayer modes, such as Deathmatch, Team-Deathmatch and Capture The Flag. You move in the best Jump'n'Run manner across the colorful 2D maps, collect the weapons laying around and try to defend yourself against numerous opponents.

If you run out of ammunition for weapons like the granade launcher or shotgun, you can allways count on your standard weapon whose ammunition regenerates itself over and over again.

In addition to the obligatory weapons, there are also armor powerups and energy placed in the various levels, which you can collect to keep yourself alive longer.  

In order to reach higher places on the maps, you have a ninja rope at your disposal which can be used at any time and is strongly reminiscent to the ninja rope in the Worms-Series.

Graphically, Teeworlds presents itself in a classic 2D look, while offering a wide variety of level environments in which you can go nuts.

One of the really positive points, is that no matter when i tried to find a game during the test, I was able to play it immediately - Without even having to wait the slightest bit, as it is the case with most other online- & multiplayergames. 

Unfortunately: Thats it!

As already mentioned, you can only choose between Deathmatch, Team-Deathmatch and Capture The Flag - Not really anything worth mentioning if it weren't completely free. You can only kind of "customize" the appearance of your "Tee" a little bit.

In this sense, it can be said that Teeworlds combines well-known and proven gameplay with a colorful, comic-like 2D look and a corresponding Jump'n'Run gameplay.

In general, this small, colorful chaos called Teeworlds is always worth a little play - Especially, with friends in a custom game. Unfortunately, it's a bit too monotonous for longer gaming sessions, due to the lack of different game modes.

Teeworlds is a free and entertaining little game. Sadly, there is nothing to unlock and just standard gamemodes. That's why it don't develope any long-term motivation.

However, thanks to the uncomplicated and fast gameplay, it is suitable for a quick, little game at any given time.
