Space Hat is a fun blend of first-person shooter and platformer, and it's available for free download on Steam.
We take on the role of "Vega" (also known as "Space Hat"), whose mission is to dismantle a galactic weapons cartel. Her unique feature is indeed her hat, which has the ability to teleport.
With features like teleportation, double jump, dash ability, and the capacity to squeeze through even the smallest openings, this sci-fi game has everything needed for fast-paced gameplay. It's no coincidence that a timer is displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen, encouraging players to complete each level as quickly as possible.

The level design requires frequent and precise use of teleportation to overcome large gaps and other obstacles. Initially, it can be difficult to accurately judge the distances for jumping and coordinating them with teleportation. However, once you master this, conquering each new platforming section becomes a real thrill.
When it comes to armed combat with the enemies, the weapon offers two firing modes. One is a short-range burst fire with unlimited ammunition, and the other is a rapid fire mode, which is limited by the battery power. The highly sensitive mouse control makes it quite difficult to accurately target individual enemies when there are many enemies present.
Those who manage to make it through will be rewarded with two challenging levels, featuring some very chaotic combat sequences, but also some excellent platforming sections, which I really enjoyed.
